The vegetables are cooked separately and then combined in a second moment in a large pan, in which the final touch is given by adding the right amount of vinegar and sugar, creating an ad hoc sweet-and-sour.
ADVICE FOR USE:
It should be served cold or at room temperature. Delicious with toast. Can be used as an appetizer or as a side dish with grilled meat. Excellent also in prestigious platters, accompanied by mature cheeses typical of Sicily, and by bread of ancient wheat freshly baked. A pleasure to be enjoyed.
